Rosso Sicilia IGT
Full bodied and spicy, this ruby red Sicilian blend packs a glass full of blackberries and red cherries. Whoever said wine can’t go with breaded chicken has never tried this pairing! This one can really take some flavour, so hit it with rich pork meatballs or your famous peppery wings.
This beautiful island is home to some of Italy’s most interesting and unusual wines. The winemaking tradition goes back 4000 years and the knowledge has been passed down through the generations. The vineyards are planted up in the rocky hillsides and around the Mediterranean coast, where the climate is ideal for grapes. Sicily has a number of grape varieties which are unique to the island, such as Grecanico, Inzolia and Nero d’Avola.
